CGGVeritas – MEEA Undergraduates Scholarship for Master’s Degree Program


The co-financed CGGVeritas-MEEA Undergraduates Scholarship programme for the academic year 2011-2012 is for students hailing from Egypt, India and Lebanon, who are currently enrolled in academic courses. Only candidates holding the nationality of one of these three countries are eligible for this programme.

A maximum of four scholarships will be awarded for the academic year 2011-2012.

The co-financed CGGVeritas-MEEA Undergraduates Scholarship will be given for a year of studies in France at the levels of Master 2, Master of Sciences or specialised Master in the following disciplines:

• Applied Mathematics
• International Affairs Development
• Finance

In either of the following institutions

• Ecole Centrale de Paris
• HEC Paris.

The year of academic studies will end with an internship at one of the offices of the CGGVeritas Group in France.

Undergraduates Scholarship Candidates selected for this programme will receive, from the CGGVeritas Group, a scholarship of € 10,000, a tutorship during their academic year in France, an internship with stipend at the end of the academic course, and may be given the opportunity to work with the Group.

The Undergraduates Scholarship Embassy of France will bear the expenses of providing social security to the selected candidates, which confers on them the status of a French government scholarship holder and all the advantages that go with it (facilitation of visa application process, housing allocation, etc.) as well as French courses ahead of their departure for France.

A personalised welcome, assistance before departure and on arrival for various administrative formalities, search and reservation of accommodation will be offered to the successful candidates by the hosting institution.

In addition, the Project Will Link These amorphous silica Stocks to Those of carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus. The Ph.D. Undergraduates Scholarships thesis goodwill ultimately Revolve around the concept of carbon and silica Stocks in Arctic ecosystems, the interpretation of These Stocks in the context of climate change and permafrost thawing and the interactions with others nutrient cycles.

Eligibility Details:

The Kirchberg ARE EL to hold a university degree (preferably MSc. Or equivalent) in natural sciences.A Undergraduates Scholarships degree in subjects like Geology, Geochemistry, Geography or Aquatic Ecology is preferable. Documented experience in field studies is an Advantage. Experience of Scientific Publication in English is an asset
